Recently the actors who play Rue and Cinna have come under attack from Racist fans of the Hunger Games. Reblog if you support the casting of Amandla Stenberg, the adorable and talented actress who plays Rue, and Lenny Kravitz, the unquestionable genius who plays Cinna.

Kravitz OWNED that roll, and Amandla Stenberg was a perfect Rue. Anyone who says they couldn’t like them because they were black needs to check their fucking racism and shape the fuck up.

Considering the only physical descriptors for Cinna is
1. Green eyes and
2. Brown hair?
It’s pretty easy. Anyone can get green eyes through the use of contact lenses, and he’s got brown hair. Everything else is arbitrary.
When I first read The Hunger Games, I pictured a short, skinny white guy.
I like Lenny Kravitz better. FOR REASONS.
I’m not sure why but I always envisioned Cinna as black. Small, thin, calm, with green eyes/green eyeliner, dark skin, and short brown hair. Lenny Kravitz was a perfect choice, it was as though they were casting from my mental image.
